- SoftCopy warrants that its disks are free from defects for 90 days and will
- replace any defective disks within that time period.

- NOTE: From the floppy drive type install to install the program.
- Once installed you are at the MAIN PROGRAM MENU. Once you exit and
- wish to start Digital Business Cards again, goto the DCARDS\ prompt
- and type DIGITAL to run the program.

- Installing the programs
-
- To install these programs to a hard disk, use the install
- program provided (started by typing INSTALL at floppy prompt).
- Around 2.5M of free space is required for all of the programs
- and documentation... This will be checked for you automatically.

- The install program initially offers to install the programs to a
- new directory on drive C called DCARDS. (C:\DCARDS).
- \CARD1
- \CARD2 Card 2 - 4 only with registered version
- \CARD3
- \CARD4
- If you wish to use a different hard disk, simply type in a new
- DISK NUMBER. For example, enter 2 to put the programs into a DCARDS
- directory on your D drive.

- Once you've entered the HARD DRIVE NUMBER YOU WISH TO USE, disk space is
- checked and then the files are INSTALLED. To re-enter the program from
- the DCARDS\ prompt type DIGITAL.

- After installation is complete, you are presented with the opening menu
- (for example, to view Business Card1 press 1) or press (5) to go straight
- into Creating your Digital Business Card.

- HINT: You may wish to copy the files in the sub-directories CARD1 - CARD4
- into new directories to view as you learn the various ways of inputting
- text, as once you start the MAIN Program by typing DIGITAL at the
- DOS DCARDS\ prompt and select (5) to create your Digital Business Card
- all text is replaced.

- To view the original CARD1 - CARD4 you have copied into separate directories
- just type the card number you wish to view, (Example: 1 = CARD1 )

- HINT: SoftCopy strongly recommends that you view the pre-made business cards
- before you create your own.

- SOUND

- Sound formats supported: MIDI, CMF, MUS, VOC-MUSIC, VOC-VOICE, and converted
- WAVE>>VOC files.
- Sound file capability upgrades for Digital Business Cards is $15.00 for each
- set. i.e.:
- Set 1. MIDI
- Set 2. CMF
- Set 3. VOC (all)
- Set 4. MUS

- Name, Company name, address etc. This information and the following two
- screens of Personal Information will be displayed in all cards.

- There are four input boxes for phone numbers. They can be in any order you
- wish. It is suggested you look at the sample cards for text placement for
- each card before inserting text
